Canon of scriptures

Canon of scriptures tells us how the Bible come into the present form as a sacred Book of all books. Canon means "rule". It is a yard stick which all holy scriptures collected from ancient times are classified. The people who did this were no ordinary people but scholars who were both Jewish believers and believers in the Christian faith. The rule of determing which books were a long process all the way to earlier portions of scriptures before Christ (ie, B.C.) and then later in the A.D. ( after Christ).
