The Chinese in Singapore accounts for about 77% of Singapore's population. 68%of them follow Buddhism, Taoism or confucianism. 32% of them follow the fanatical Christain religion. They speak Mandarin and Chinese dialects, but the knowledge of Chinese dialects among younger Singaporeans is in decline.

More Chinese are using English to speak to other/strangers even when the other party is a chinese. They do use Mandarin when it thier closed friends and some dailects if it a relative.
