Experience

Experience is what a person had lived through, having acquired some form of experiential knowledge. It is contrasted with technical (bookish) knowledge learnt in schools or classroom situations.

• Some kind of knowledge probably are problematical, since some experiences are not morally unacceptable or not achievable possible (e.g. metaphysical knowledge ). Such knowledge can be learnt by theoretical (or abstract knowledge) teaching methods for the purpose of information. ( e,g, learning about.. religions theology or psychology philosophy history etc )

The Pastor said: "I know you since you attend my church every week", However, does he really know me like the way my wife knows? Of course no ! it's intimate knowledge! (private) Just like only the husband and wife can know!

My wife said, "Honey I don't really know you!" You hardly tell me anything.. So? Does my wife not really know better than my pastor ? ..I never even know he (Pastor) really enjoy any sex at all, since he's a single person! I know my wife better than anyone else, however, she still confess ( said ) she didn't know me? eh?

My little girl said to me one day: Dad you are famous on the TV, everybody likes you and know you better than your own family, so ? Does that meant I know all my audience more than my family? Can't be lah, I'm a family man and a real caring father! Maybe more people had seen me ( my face on TV) and acquainted with my famous name (Phua Chu Kang!) but they know nothing about my family Lor!

Conclusion: the English word "to know" meant a lot of things with many shades of meanings too. In Greek language, it's more confusing but can be precise too, a host of different words are used. For example gnosis the knowledge of God cannot be just mere acquaintance knowing,(or technical knowledge) it has to be personal or experience by believing...in order to be rightly related to God as your own heavenly Father! A trusting relationship has to be cultivated just as the relationship like Abraham was a friend of God

Technical knowledge is school book knowledge, and just like in medical terms the doctor knows by..
