Father is the tradtional head in the family. Mother is more than the head, because she is the NECK that turn the head & she is often the sole bread winner, since the old man stay home to cook and look after the children, this is the new lifestyle catching up here. However the importance of the role of the head cannot be erased or distressed, it is a God-given role and will be until eternity dawned!

The ideal family is the working father ( a literal slave for the outside world) and a Boss who come home to put up his legs while sitting on the couch watching usual favorite TV news at 7 pm. and waiting the rest to politely ask him, come for dinner dear!
Father day is on 17th June 2007 ! If it is june 10, it is a week earlier!
*********What is a Father???, IT is the chemistry in the body of the Man that works, and he is not gay either!

Chemistry that works: -

- - tendency to be Boss
  - tendency to be angry with children (don't say angry, adamant sometimes.. maybe,,hehehe..)
  - aggressive defending his rights
And if if take away that chemistry, he will loses the father-image!

Who would be the role model, or the greatest person in my life? my boy friend? I didn't have any special, and not looking around for one! However, if there is one person whom I admire, it's my Father.
All our siblings all trail after Father. Yet, he is nobody great, just a homemaker!

Mom is great she is the breadwinner.

I won’t say Dad trail after Mom’s career, she is only a working mom, just like a lot of working women in Spore. However the one who always a ready delicious meal ready for my taste is still Father. He made bread and I used to compete with him buying all the nice takeaway from places like Bread shops and durian cake, but somehow my Father pizza always taste so good, though I prefer my own bread.
“So, what are you doing to-day?” That’s what he always says to me just about every day. Until I always say, “ Dad you always ask, don’t you know better?”

In our home, we always say grace before every thanksgiving or important meal; I meant we have only have one main course per day – that is dinner. So, we were all taught to pray at home.
Did you have any homework today? Well that was what he asked when I came back after a tired, horrid day, and that’s all he wanna to know! Maybe he could say, something like “anything important today?” Nevertheless, he won’t! That’s trailing after me like a silent killer. It haunt me wherever I goes. Of course, that rule of coming home late, never I ever wanna come after eleven, and I usually come back for dinner. Therefore, I am a good girl, and how grateful am I, due to my Father. Tell me - what? should I get for him next father’s day?…It still beats me and my purse I am still broke!

I never really know my father, and my mother took care of me until I became a young man. i determine to be a real father when I have my own family. Now at 64 I am a happy father with three adult kids, they all loved me and celebrate father day with my family when there is an occasion for it.

(To be a father is a frightening thot, it is not a role anyone enjoy):some old bachelors still said it..

Our local 93.8 radio station’’’ had featured some rare birds among the few working birds on this Island paradise. One of them spoke of his time spent with his youngings, and overheard his own little birdie said one day,

"Dad, I seen more of you in the papers than in person!"

In fact the environmental working areas where the PAP led industries, factories, banks, and most commercial and as well as garmen civil services plus all the grocery giants are run by All women and some of them can be beauty queens too! Even those Toto & 4d betting houses are run by them & One wonder why the normal working fathers can still find a place to work and bring home the bread & butter? Yes, join the PAP and be a supporter! And hope one day you will be invited for tea and be a MP..hehehehe In fact, most had given up looking for a job (leaving the few jobs for the bus captains, taxi drivers, office boys, security guards, sanitary engineers & collectors etc, etc to the few who preferred losing some indignity among the underemployed rather than the employed) So what (!!} I prefer to be a housekeeper, and at least, I can be a househusband and a father to my children: Alien ^talk 06:34, 11 June 2007 (SGT). I meant to say the few father there is who really fathered their kids are rare, besides not only these are getting the labels {from the garmen & the general public perceived as redundant, lazy, unemployed }

Taken (movie) is the story about a growing up 17 years old (girl) who wanna to see the world..and she did saw the worse side of the world..and her father became a rescuer in a scary kidnapped-for-body sale story (ie.taken) ..well it ended well so the story goes..however..(go see yourself!)
