[edit] The existence of God

There are an abundance of Proofs of God's existence in books, and writings of thinkers and famous people.
However there is one single argument that I enjoy reading here I quote

The theory of atheism solves no problems but only multiplies unsolved mysteries.

The acceptance of the existence of God as Creator of the world is like a magic key that fits all the facts of Scripture, revelation, knowledge and science.

This irrefutable doctrine is held tenaciously by multitudes of souls who are willing both to live and die in the consolation of this assurance

It is a known fact that every language has one or more terms that are used in reference to God and sometimes to lesser deities. This is not the case with Allah. Allah is the personal name of the One true God. Nothing else can be called Allah. The term has no plural or gender. This shows its uniqueness when compared with the word god which can be made plural, gods, or feminine, goddess. It is interesting to notice that Allah is the personal name of God in Aramaic, the language of Jesus and a sister language of Arabic.

Yet when one thinks of God in reality within the mind, one is enable to preconceive G_d as an Entity. The idea of God maybe like an alien from faraway. God may exist outside the space time environment constraints in an OPEN abstraction beyond the reach of scientific observation and even any possible knowledge other than that of speculation.

Admittedly, the mind can really conceive of God in this speculative sense. God therefore become an ideal not necessary to be real! Nobody would want to believe in a speculative God, because it 's likely he may not exists! However, one may believe in an ideal God ? Just think about how many people do believe like that,but that really is still an artifical God!

However one may believe, that idea alone cannot deny nor obliterate the existence of G_d. G_d is self existing, that means God is independent of external helps or environment to survive or exist.

One may rightly assume -

The moment we try to level with God or even make him look lower than man, THEN THE IDEA OF God ceases to be really God, just we become absurd in our rational thinking! However, that is what many theologians do when they learn to criticise or acquire the knowledge of God from a speculative theology without an active believing faith<study of God>One may study from an objective point with speculative element known as such higher "criticism" on God's revelation in the Bible. Then the scriptures become myths and truth incorrectly taken become falsehood. Goto see Biblical Studies. see foolishness

[edit] God in Revelation or G_d revealing Himself as G+d truly to>>>> us

  • G_d or God as within the context of the English Language would determine what the mindsets of such culture of the English speaking people. He both enable and limit the mind to explore and believe within a closed system. One only understand God in terms of the language or culture settings of one very own . goto see language
  • However, if God is communicate-ABLE it is possible for G_D to reveal that unknowable of the unknown Entity define here as G_D, and it is conceiveable that it is logical, assumingly he has probably done so! goto see contextualization
    • That is what G_D can allow by SELF revelation, in that G_D reveals his DIVINE REALITY and his ENVIRONMENT surrounding in reference to his BEING and SELF EXISTENCE. The Bible has been known as God's WORD revealing and unfolding God to using the context of the Language it is written. It has been translated into almost all of the living languages on earth. It is as if written by the Hand of God Himself as the Holy Spirit moved the specially chosen writers of God own chosen people within the context of their language and culture.
    • This is a treatise limiting to the explanation of the what<substantially> rather than the why<rationality> so it will not give details and elaborate under the scope here.

[edit] The One True God IS only revealed by ....REVELATION

  • From the earliest known Greek culture, their refined thinking <occidental> and meditative concept of G_d by their thinkers had conceived G_d in their own human < anthropomorphic > terms. Aristotle claimed G+d as equal with the Highest Good, a human concept.
    • And others expressed G_d as the Logos or the first principle, an abstraction. All such was to influence the western mindset later in the history of the western cultural and religious context.
    • Greek thinking was crystal clear as can be within the logical mind such as expressed with their geometry, logarithms and mathematics abstractions as the cosmological system that existed in the rhythm musical notes produced in nature.
  • On the other hand, from the eastern mind parallels with the occidental thinking in the idea of God. Within the Chinese and Indian <east Indian> ancient thinkers, the concept of G_d as TAO and OM as the first principle from which all life and the universe was perceived remained a logical assumption within the mindsets of oriental worldview and thinking. Later the idea was corrupted by the many worshippers of a great host of gods and goddesses. goto see 'Idolatry
  • The ancient Indian and Chinese thinkers were not different in logic as the clear Greek thinkers.

Just in our own conceits we fail to understand the Great God who is the Only One who ways are beyond our comprehension or imaginations..


  • Although The religious monotheistic G+D of the Judaeo+Islam+Christian deprived its basic ideas in the concept of G+d from the clear logic of the ancient Greek thinkers..
  • However it must be clearly stated that the One true G+D allowed himself to be revealed by revelation to the prophets, seers and the chosen race people uniquely termed as "the chosen people" in the Bible.

[edit] The Bible His Word today and for faith not 4 speculations (unbelievers)

    • The Bible claimed as both inspired by God and written through the agency of the language and culture of the times of the writers themselves. It also claimed to be God's Word as "revelation".
    • Just the Bible is revelation in written Word, Jesus too represents the ultimate revelation of the God in human body within the constraints of the culture and religion of Jesus' time.
    • This is a basic concept found in the mindset of believers. It is therefore believed as a common line of thinking among the three great faiths. The question of the "how" or by "what" means is a topic beyond the context of this discussion. goto see Jesus and understand his claims! What are these claims in the Bible?

the great Expanse in the deep blue beyond of the Universe and the whole creation cry out in silent praises to the Creator!
The truth is: we have His divine image in us and within our little brains .. there is the activity no less than the soul groping for both present reality and eternity in view..
Our purpose as pilgrims here on earth is the preparation of our mindset to reside in our future home in eternity.
Ever consider Jesus Christ as the Man-that-God-sent from the other dimension to reveal fully His Image as in humanity? He said: I am the way the truth and the Life, no man come to the Father except by Me..

      • For instance. the Bible declare explicitly in the first chapter and verse of the Book as

<Declaration>" In the beginning God..." this is a statement of faith, not speculations  !.

[edit] The idea of No_God

    • Just as on the one hand one can perceive G+d as an Entity conceivable as the One true God, there are those who may want to perceive the idea that there are but "NO G-d".
    • This No G-d theory is prominent among the earliest known thinkers as far back as some atheists, free thinkers, evolutionists, doubters, and unbelievers as the idea of the existence of G+d !
    • The one who believe there is, claimed that their God is TRUE. The others who don't believe accepted the fact that G_d is false (untrue). This is a matters of Choice!
  • It is simple to believe compare with not-to-believe. Not to believe is an obvious choice too!.
  • In the first case, the mind submits and accepts the fact of the reality of God as Creator, whereas those who deny this reality as unbelievers must think and live with doubtings.
  • Rational thinking is conceived not by lack of knowledge but by the need to gain more

From Simon Greenleaf (1783-1853) quote in part here:

    • "The proof that God has revealed himself to man by special and express communications, and that Christianity constitutes that revelation , is no part of these inquiries. This has already been shown, in the most satisfactory manner by others, who have written expressly upon this subject. Referring therefore to their writings for the arguments and proofs, the fact will here be assumed as true. That man is a religious being , is universally conceded, for it has been seen to be universally true. He is everywhere a worshiper. In every age and country, and in every stage, from the highest intellectual culture to the darkest stupidity, he bows with homage to a superior Being. Be it the rude-carved idol of his own fabrication, or the unseen divinity that stirs within him, it is still the object of his adoration. This trait in the character of man is so uniform, that it may safely be assumed, either as one of the original attributes of his nature, or as necessarily resulting from the action of one or more of those attributes."

[edit] The secret of old Mankind ? or creation ?

  • Image:Ballmove.gifAs we mankind, successfully unravel the secret of the genomes of our original codes of the race homo sapiens; the question is: have we unraveled the understanding of volumes written by God since creation? A good parallel is the Rosetta stone. Labeled the touchstone of ancient knowledge and secrets of the old world. It had enabled mankind to probe at the vast amount of mysterious undeciphered ancient writing previous unopened. There are many works of countless archeologists, linguists and a host of interested people, many who devoted their whole lives towards the understanding of the secrets found in this simple stone, the Rosetta stone. It was dug up from old dirt in Egypt.

The Bible represents uniquely the handwritten script of Almighty God who through the ages had not left us without written records or witnesses to His Almighty greatness and Power in history.

In our modern setting are we any different?

An interesting debate of "DOES GOD EXIST?" [[4]] With commentaries at the bottom. yes, of course..see to believe?
