Mutual assured destruction (MAD) is a doctrine of military strategy in which a full-scale use of nuclear weapons by one of two opposing sides would effectively result in the destruction of both the attacker and the defender. {{trying to make sense}} It is based on the theory of deterrence according to which the deployment of strong weapons is essential to threaten the enemy in order to prevent the use of the very same weapons. The strategy is effectively a form of Nash Equilibrium, in which both sides are attempting to avoid their worst possible outcome — nuclear annihilation.
Once upon a time there two superpowers. One said: If you bomb my people, my land and my Country, we assured you with MAD (Mutually agreed Destruction) and the other replied: We do the same!
It was unreal but a lot of naïve people took it for real: they built themselves small holes in the underground to avoid total annihilation. They supplied themselves with canned food and dried raisins, rice, noodles and even cat food for cat and dog food for dogs. But the end never comes: it was Mad to do it. Nobody wanted it to happen: it never occurs! Today we call them people MAD for short, and they go to the moon too. Such people never faced the fact that the world will continue: there was never going to be a nuclear winter!

- It's so easy to blame someone else for the catastrophe in the financial world of madness. There is no free lunches..however nobody seem to want blow the whistle about those false accounting and statements contrary to actual facts..their madness is not just done by the guilty perpetrators..in fact all the politicians and CEO are in the unknowing???

There must have been at least 100 people at his firm that knew what was going on to loss $50 BILLION DOLLARS: traders, accountants, sales people, computer programmers, finance people, data entry people..... THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!!

The doctrine assumes that each side has enough weaponry to destroy the other side and that either side, if attacked for any reason by the other, would retaliate with equal or greater force. The expected result is an immediate escalation resulting in both combatants' total and assured destruction. It is now generally assumed that the nuclear fallout or nuclear winter resulting from a large scale nuclear war would bring about worldwide devastation, though this was not a critical assumption to the theory of MAD.
