[edit] North South Line Extension
SINGAPORE - Work will start this month on the 1km-long extension to the North-South Line, which will run into the Marina South area.
When completed in 2014, commuters will be able to get to Marina South Pier, the upcoming new cruise terminal and the Gardens by the Bay via MRT.
The Land Transport Authority awarded the $357.5 million contract to Samsung C&T Corporation for the design and construction of the extension's additional station and its associated tunnels.
