The greatest gift God gives us is the MIND. Our physical body with all the beautiful (or ugly) parts is often displayed by our looks on the face alone. If your face always lights up when you see someone, I can tell you are (beautiful inside) an optimistic and positive person. So also when you hide that smile and looks serious: I know you are thinking and meditating person, perhaps you can be anxious or worried. In particular, when I see our MM Lee on the TVs talking, I understand him as a Man whose life is closely attached to all the political life of Singapore as a nation and interested in the general well-being of the society at large. I will not attempt to be his critics ( there are too many already ) but just to say, He is often too serious and (but now) smiling.

There was another man who for well over thirty years kept in the worse of all jails. It (the Gulag) kept the physical body down with slavery and all the injustices imposed upon the human body, only his mind was not in jail. He knew only they will (jailors) will try to indoctrinate his mind and tried to remove even that freedom, so he fought back with his own mind by writing notes and remembering them, and then destroying all those notes. Then suddenly, he was freed from the Gulag (Russian Siberian jail) and he migrated to America where his works were published and it evidenced a lifetime of thinking and believing in the goodness of mankind instead of the misanthropic mind s under Satan's control’’ in which the whole of his own Russian people were kept in jailed. Today at 88 plus, he give his interviews where he spoken about death, and how he would face the great fear of all mankind

The Mind is like an ever-expanding Universe, nobody really know how did it come about except for some famous "mind" theories.

The mind enable us to see, hear, feel oneself and experience the world around us..and then knowing what it's all about, we are able to form ideas about it, trying to describe, and understand it according to one's cultural point of view.

Neuroscientists are mapping the brain's biochemical circuitry, which may help produce more effective drugs for alleviating the suffering of those who have Alzheimer's or Parkinson's disease. By studying how the brain's cells and chemicals develop, interact, and communicate with the rest of the body, investigators are also developing improved treatments for people incapacitated by spinal cord injuries, depressive disorders, and epileptic seizures. Breakthroughs in molecular genetics show great promise of yielding methods to treat and prevent Huntington's disease, the muscular dystrophies, and other life-threatening disorders. Research may also prove valuable in our war on drugs, as studies provide greater insight into how people become addicted to drugs and how drugs affect the brain.
