[edit] On a Hill far away?

One of the beautiful sight as one visiting (*by ship or plane) to the harbour of Miri (meaning Beautiful) city on the ( Sarawak ) 4th division one can see the hill buildings far away on a hill in the distance. They are two churches ( A Chinese and a native Church) as if two lighthouses on top of Canada Hill ( there is a Grand Old Lady further uphill where the old oil rig stands as a historic site).

• Miri Gospel Chapel is one of the missionary church with strong relation with the Christian colleges in Malaysia and Singapore.

During the 54th graduation (May 2007) of SBC (the acronyms for Singapore Bible College), I meet some old friends from Miri. Many SBC students came and graduated to serve as Pastors and church workers all over Southeast Asia and as far as west Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore as even in the western countries and elsewhere.
