Pundits there none in Spore, except those from outer space! alien know about everything but nothing in depth! so he's not qualifying to be a pundit yet!

Meaning: pundits are people who know a lot about a certain subject, and that can put anyone in trouble if that person know too much and is a State security risk!
Pundits who critize the GARMEN ended in jail! But that's depends what colors of cloak one wears!
The jailers alway recognise the colors by tags on the collars of each pundits
  • yellow : stay in for one month
  • red : stay in for three months
  • Blue : one week
  • Green : one day and a big fine
  • *****Golden : forever
Black : released immediately on orders

The last one to leave left with an emptied jail, but why brainy Singaporeans don't made the grade Here?

Those who acclaimed to be pundits from over the seas are called dissidents, right? never pundits!

I read in the Papers <Strait Times>that usually promote Garmen views and give slight or no attentions to any news about opposition <if any it's usually no that good or bad!> So as a reader and non-political entity, without any whatever association with the lightning or leftists, I devote hours to overview and feed back our public feelings and responses to the readers at Sgwiki.com.

Slowly and surely, the garmen know it has over those 30 – 40 years of tweaking had produced a bunch of apolitical people who had distanced themselves from the political reality. One asks about how the common people, the public from the grassroots to top-notch brains are feeling and thinking. When the papers are subjected to years of experience of a totalitarian garmen what can they write<?> and about what subject matters? If there is a totally ‘’mis’’-informed public among brilliant intelligent people all over the globe, Singaporeans probably remained the top among the apathetic and apolitical number one!

However, it seem strange to hear of MM Lee and others saying "Politics is a serious business" and "our whole life are involved"!. Therefore that assumption is simply: those people in politics are either the garmen or the opposition, the rest of us is "no, no.no!" The topic of politics is for the selected ones only, its sacred to the garmen and sacrosanct !

When I wrote to bring out the oxymoronic situation existing here, the garmen seem to tell us that their ‘’seemly phobia of public feelings and strange ideas’’ free public opinions are to be discouraged and not acceptable, and worst: you better watch out! We will take you to task in further legal actions<!>

Register with us first during election, no blogging or podcasting. And so on. This is exactly the old spirit of "kiasuism" found among Singaporeans that I am never proud or stoic about. Like rulers and like people! How in this small world are we going to be creative and exhibits strong leadership and set examples for our families and even those around us in Southeast Asia?

No wonder they put Su Kyi in jail and restricted her movements even though the people had already elected her, only the those Generals in power didn’t think she was capable of setting up a new Government. Therefore, they just took over. WE could never tell the Burmese nor their rulers that they are unethical, and wrong. It is the same here, except for a few trillions dollars in our rich state coffer! The clever garmen only interested in making money, more money and lots of it, but we have lost our common sense in all matters to the total disregards of other matters far important to our national life and social well-being! I am not suggesting that the opposition or left wingers could have done better, but why cannot the garmen let us live as matured adults and clear thinking people with common sense of well being than mere slaves of the state? We should be entitled to think for ourselves and opinions even against or differing with the garmen view should also be respected: Just agreed to disagreed ? Is that what matured people are supposed to do?

[edit] Election 2006?

  1. The garmen is hypering on new green horses to win the race..will it do the job of winning the confidence of young voters?
  2. Will it be a total victory?
  3. Or will the opposition left winger fly or fare well this time?
  4. Will the timing be good?
  5. Will the green horns run as in speaking out to differ, charisma any or nay? or are they jsut in because being PAP shortlisted is a great experience?
  6. Lastly will the Pheonix rises again in Singapore?

[edit] Article by a talented would-be pundit

Every six years, some lucky peasants will get the chance to become election candidates, become a MP ("Member of Peasantland") and earn a salary of a lifetime. It is the biggest lottery in the kingdom, bigger than 4D, Toto, Sweep, etc.

I looked at the recruitment targets and criteria. The Peasant land Action Party ("PAP") needs 20 to 30 new MPs. Not more than three-quarters can be males; there must be minority races represented; the MPs-to-be must be between 35 – 45 years old; there must be no divorcees, widows, widowers and gays; all religions must be represented; and there must be at least a lawyer, doctor, banker, scholar, military officer, and civil servant.

There were two dossiers: one of the male candidates and one of the female candidates. The male dossier had no photos, the female dossier had.

I flipped open the portfolio on the male peasants. It was the usual boring stuff and fakes shit. The pages were full of scholars (Emperor Scholars, military scholars, etc) who want to “serve the country”; rich eunuchs' sons who wants to “contribute to society”; sons of poor peasants who have slogged their way up and now wants to “repay society”; peasants from the minority races who want to “speak up for their race”, etc.

All had the same profile: studied hard, went to good schools, active in community and social service, happy family etc. Damn, the script looks like the one from the 2001 elections. I think they just changed the names.

I have a dinner date in half an hour's time and had to pick 20. Using "weenie, meenie, minie, moa" got me 17.

I came across a distant cousin from my village. It's good to have some kin around. He is in. He has proven himself on merit, I wrote in the comments.

I saw an old school mate in the dossier. He is doing well. He is good looking, is an Emperor Scholar, a high-flying general in the army, and chairman of a prominent charity etc. He is doing too well. He will be a threat to the familee dynasty one day. I crossed him out.

I am one short of a Malay candidate, and there are not many to choose from. I picked the only one left. He is just 31 years old and is entering politics at a younger age than me. Damn, that's one record he took from me. I made a note to slow down his political career.

I opened the female dossier. Maybe it is not a good idea to include photographs of the female candidates. I have never seen so many ugly women in my life. Is this the best from the PAP, the Young PAP and the Women's Wing?

I looked for the statistics that matter most: their vital statistics. The magic number was 32. None had a waist smaller than 32. None had a bust bigger than 32. And none was younger than 32.

I used "weenie, weenie, minie, moa" again but I closed my eyes. It was too much to look at the photographs. I looked at my selection. It was not too bad. I had picked the one with the biggest bust. There was one with a big mouth, one with a big head, one with big eyes, one with big ears, one with a big hip, one with a big backside, and one with big thighs.

Dear wife Wonder Woman came in. She beamed her approval at the quality of the candidates. Beautiful, she said.

I saw another album on the table and flipped it open. The females here were even uglier than the ones in the first album. If those in the first album were fat, these were skinny.

"Errr, these are the Miss Peasantland Universe contestants," Personal Assistant Cary Lum Par whispered to me.

How about I pick one or two from here, I asked. Lum Par protested. I saw Wonder Woman hovering over me and decided to drop the idea. Damn, if she can play with her toy boy Thaksin, why can't I have some fun too?

MP Cindy called. She sounded very confused. The electoral boundaries had been redrawn and now MP Hwee Hwee’s province has become part of Cindy’s province. Cindy wanted to know whether she is in or out of the province.

Of course you are in, you are the anchor in that province, I reassured her. She is indeed an anchor: since she became an MP, she’s sunk to the bottom and stayed there.

I hung up the phone. I don't recall any Cindy in my party. What did she look like? Damn, it is getting hard to remember all my MPs. Cary Lum Par showed me her picture. No wonder I could not remember Cindy; I can only remember chio faces.

Talking about chio faces, I called Woman-In-White to pick her up for dinner.

Damn, why don't they make women like they used to.
