Meaning of life
From SgWiki
- Meaning of life or what's is your purpose here? I ask a young fellow standing at the doorway of the Toto Pools' outlet with a bunch of Ang Pows. He was unable to give a satisfactory answer since he understood it as a philosophical question! (He was meant to sell those Toto 6/42 $10 millions draw for the CNY. Perhaps he is bored and know it's a boring new job given to him to be at the doorway there!) hehehehehe]..
[edit] Meaning of Life or simply the Ultimate purpose in this world
- A farmer farm all his life and learn to grow veggie or cereal plants and earn an honest life, his purpose is to raise his family and then go on (die eventually) to the next hereafter.
- A fisherman does the same thing: to fish and earn an honest living and take care of his family and then dies..
- Even someone isolated and lived in the raw jungle of the Amazon Basin had to live, produce children and survive then dies..
- the modern educated man is still no much different. except of course he learn to make money and manipulate one another to achieve successes (in term of business or monetary gains).. and still take care of family, raise children then dies too!
- : In each case the simple purpose is to survive and live then die..is there an ultimate purpose in this life? If not, then life is boring and meaningless!

[edit] Interview Link
- In an interview by Paul Bradshaw with Rick Warren, author of The Purpose Driven Life, Rick Warren said:
People ask me, What is the purpose of your life? And I respond, In a nutshell, life is preparation for eternity. We were made to last forever, and God wants us to be with Him in Heaven. One day my heart is going to stop, and that will be the end of my body - but not the end of me. I may live 60 to 100 years on earth, but I am going to spend trillion of years in eternity. This is the warm-up act, the dress rehearsal. God wants us to practice on earth what we will do forever in eternity. We were made by God and for God, and until you figure that out, life isn’t going to make sense.
