[edit] wHAT'S REALITY WITH YOU??
What you see. feel, hear, know, understand or communicate etc..is real to you, and ..maybe..someone said:
- what you see is what you get..?
Does it make sense with with U..? if not goto worldview or POV.. {{trying to make sense}}
With some people who thinks deeper into levels of reality..they will arrive at the question of Ultimate reality, and some celebrities among Philosophers (like a bunch of bananas or nuts) they figure out that their own brand of reality is the best..hehehehehe..wow-lau they are nuts indeed.
For instant the crazy goul (Immanuel Kant??) said ..something like this see-ing is believing??
[edit] sOME may BELIEVE IN LIES
- Politics is a discipline that create clever ideas for people to believe in..so?
Such ideas as going to the moon, dreaming dreams are fantastic ideas, and they are not all-truth- like the whole truth, and the general population may get suck into make-beliefs without any discerning to see thru the falsehood!
goto see Neil Armstrong who claimed to walk on the moon..he's crazy moon-walker who lied..although the general public believe him, not alien here hehehe..I know better!
Reality is a word with many definitions but the simple meaning as follows: What is reality is REAL. However, what is real is not necessarily true. It maybe true to life, but can it be true to death? Related to the idea of true is the idea in the mind. Whatever the mind can think , it can be real but it is not necessary true. In Hollywood the actors and actresses are professional in their play acting, and they can just about taken on any role provided they have the resources and affect-effects and all the gimmicks to make it a successful make-believe or reality.)
What is an idea?
- It can be any new fancied idea, an imagined thing or just something from the mind. ( However, philosophers don't agree on just what are exactly "concrete" realities).
Realities have concrete form, shape, size which you can see it and feel it just a real person in life, not a shadow or a ghost! However, the mind may make up things which could never exits in real life, some of them are make-believe or realities beyond space and time! (spiritual realities)or eternal values ie. compared with illusion. goto see eternity
- Today realities are temporal , meaning they only lasts as long as its enduring ability, but slowly and surely all things breaks down and decay with time.
- On the other hand, spiritual realities transcend beyond time and space, like the mind or soul is meant to endure beyond death and it is a hope most believers believe that they will have immortality or eternal life. see XV and III.
- Jesus is described by the Bible as "yesterday, today, and forever the same " a real source of eternal spiritual reality for belief!
- In the Bible especially the Old testaments, many spiritual realities are described as types as in typology , analogies, allegories or simply as "shadow of the real". This is necessary in view that all scriptures being prophesies as foretelling events not yet happening or becoming real into history, or maybe it is for some event or person yet to exit, such as foretelling it as a shadow of the future. It is possible because just as things here located in time and place, so it will be as Good Almighty may evidence such realities in future just as the hand of God in writing it out bewfore it really happened. The Bible is the Word of God and written through human languages (Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek) by different writers living in different times in history, and some of them still foretelling the unfolding future in their world yet to be realised.

[edit] Ultimate reality
Ultimate Reality in philosophy, is the absolute nature of all things. It is different from ordinary reality, which is considered a product of the individual conscious mind. Ultimate Reality is independent of observation. In Hinduism, the Brahman is believed to be the One Ultimate Reality.
An Ultimate Reality is generally alluded to by non-theistic religions where theistic religions would speak of divinity.
The existence of an Ultimate Reality is debated. Metaphysical Subjectivism says that perception alone creates reality, and there is no underlying, true, reality that exists independent of perception. One can also hold that it is consciousness rather than perception that creates reality. However, Ultimate Reality theorists hold that there must be an objective truth for which to base one's perception, and that the difference in perception from person to person, reality tunnel to reality tunnel, is not due to a lacking objectivity, but rather can be attributed to the complexities that encompass the perception of one's environment, as well as differing environments between all.

What kind of Government in a small Country of four millions where the road to political freedom to vote is often curtailed by the rulers? Democracy, or Meritocracy or whatever the majority of the people just miss every chance to vote at every election in some GRCs. They are all dying to vote but could never have the chance to vote. There are so many walkovers. The simple answer to tear up the GRCs <Group representative Constituencies> ! GRCs really smell like yak, that has been, in any case was a PAP Garmen move to allow the original electorate districts manipulated into GRCs with the simple excuse that the minority are not represented..Now the whole population are not represented by anyone except PAP nominated candidates! What is laughable is that such gerrymandering so-called in larger and old democracies is strictly forbidden, but in a quiet corner in this great Country the people had quietly condescended to allow the whole system to be foolhardily corrupted into unprecedented great walkover by PAP ! Singapore can never again be what a free Country as a freeborn Nation with a free born people. Today we are jailed in an ironclad PAP MERITOCRACY found nowhere on planet earth!

[edit] Made-believe reality as in motion pictures
The Mareorama was an entertainment attraction at the 1900 Paris Exposition. It was created by Hugo d'Alesi, a painter of advertising posters, and was a combination of moving panoramic paintings and a large motion platform. It is regarded as one of the last major developments in the technology of panoramas, shortly before the medium became obsolete.
The attraction was located inside a building in the amusement section, on the Champ de Mars. It presented spectators with a simulated sea voyage from Marseille to Yokohama, passing by Algiers, Naples, Istanbul, the Suez Canal, Sri Lanka, and Singapore. It consisted of a 230 foot long replica of a steamship and 2 panoramas (one for the port side, one for the starboard) on large rollers. It could accomodate up to 700 passengers at a time.
The two paintings were continuous images of the sea and shoreline from the trip. They were each 2,460 feet long and 42.5 feet tall. To create them, d'Alesi sketched the highlights from a year-long trip he took between Marseille and Yokohama. He then directed a large team of decorative and scene painters for eight months, to transfer the sketches onto the 215,000 square feet of canvas. Mounted on large cylinders supported by floats, and driven by hydraulic motors, the two canvases unrolled past the spectators over the course of the simulated journey. The upper edge of each canvas was hooked to small trolleys on a rail and reinforced with a thin steel band to prevent sagging. The cylinders themselves were concealed by curtains and props.
Spectators stood on a platform which represented the deck of a steamship, complete with smoking funnels and steam whistles. In order to give it a rolling and pitching motion, it was mounted on a 16 foot square iron frame on a universal joint. A combination of hydraulic cylinders, chains, and electric motors allowed the platform to pitch by up to 20 inches from horizontal, and to roll by up to 8 inches.
To add to the illusion of a sea voyage, fans created an ocean breeze, which whistled in the rigging. Lighting effects created day- and night-time, as well as flashes of lightning. There were also sounds of the ship's screw and the steam siren. Seaweed and tar provided an olfactory element of the simulation. Finally, the whole experience was complemented by actors portraying deck hands, rushing about, "ostensibly to help anyone who may suffer from mal de mer".
