Singapore Flowers and Fauna & Flora
- Alienpart of this origin work
(When one take a walk in Ang Mo Kio Park or go to Bishan Park or the many numerous parks all over the Island, one will find all kind of trees, plants and flowers always in well cultivated planned gardens and groves. In contrast when one who lived in the early day in the 50s one hardly seen anything like any scenic spots except at the botanical garden! I used to cycle to the Northern part of the Island and discover the coastal area around the river developed and cultivated into a walking pedestrian and runner park for those interested in outdoors activities, and I could ride just about from one end of the Island to the other with those parks which are really bicycle paradise! Even in the concrete jungles of the surrounding environment, one can find growing local trees, plants, flowers and birds of many kind and species. Do you ever wonder how all the beautiful flowers and flora are maintained?}

- In showing off our little Island Flora and Flowers, we must appreciate the works of our Park management for their untiring efforts in looking after our City of Gardens and Flowers! Small may not be necessary ugly- there a side beauty in every little corner and take a gook look at the world of wonder Nature here.
- In contrast I shown some of the pictures of our neighboring Johore from a Bus perspective as a visitor so often to Malaysia, our wonderful host and neighbor. Theirs is a huge place with plenty of lands and vast areas to look after but their untiring efforts are just the same. It is a land of beauty and awesome Nature in flowery display, often in the evergreen jungle luxuriant over and even in places like the Mulu Caves <Sarawak> where the huge space could hold a dozen of our HDB block with plenty still to spare, and it only a cave!
- All these flowers and flora are located just at our friendly neighbor's home in our Block and around the vicinity of Block 254 - so you can take a gook look next time you come to visit here!
