• Obviously there are people who believe in spiritual realities without having directly seeing the historical evidences or ghosts!. Yet, Christianity is based solidly upon such historical evidences that had been never been successfully refuted < by believers & many unbelievers> nonetheless the salient facts of the foundation of Christianity remained true.

Historically none of us has really seen Jesus but that does means Jesus is not real, but the salient facts of history, both secular and religious sources testified to the facts of the historic Jesus beyond any shadow of doubt.

What actually far more important than seeing <or observation> are the historical accounts of the life and times of Jesus which also attested by signs, miracles and events such as the resurrection of Jesus himself that had indeed changed the normal course of many billions of lives down all through history even to the present times that the facts of a spiritual reality in Christianity is as real as the present world of what we see and believe to be, just that it is only a matter of a time and space difference.

However all religious beliefs tended to be metaphysical and beyond the Scientific category of observation and evidences as demanded by those who uphold the belief that only what can be observed as real and therefore true. Nevertheless it is also flawed in that it totally packaged out historical facts which cannot be observed as those are events already in the past, therefore stand to reason that such historic events cannot be recreated for observation.

• The second reason for the total denial of the spiritual reality is also based upon flawed-evolutionary assumption that evolution is the real true as compared to other explanations. Yet evolution does so by clear explanation of the presumed primordial world in the past has never offer any solid proofs beyond the shadow of doubt. In all the theories a consistency in making revisions called for need of irrefutable proofs to substantiate that the Universe can exists without God as Creator is more of a flawed view than a salient fact for belief.

• • • Chinese folks are fertile in imaginations and have all kinds of negative ideas about afterlife, they believe when a person dies, the spirit can live in a lantern, and a whole underworld views was possible since Taoism incorporated all kinds of make-believe stories of ghosts and fairies which are constantly presented and re-enforced in operas, movies and present day Sagas etc. Got to search for Ancestral worship in the Internet to see more.
    • Different religious beliefs prevailed among different cultural groups in Singapore, and all have some kind of spiritual understanding but it is far different from the Biblical revelation as in the Bible.
