- The Temple and all the services are designed by God and given as instructions in the Bible to the special chosen people of God (Israel) and today this temple (exists no more as it) was destroyed by the Roman army <between A.D. 60-70> as prophesied by Jesus.
The construction and plan of the temple is in the Bible, the writer to the book of Hebrews wrote and described it as a shadow or type of the real heavenly realities to come in the future. goto see heaven a imaginary picture of what heaven will be..

[edit] tHE SACRED PLACE OF GODS AND GODDESSES?
(My childhood was spent in the temple. To me it is just a place where the gods and goddesses dwelt. Many people came to consult the temple priest (my grandfather) who served both roles the temple keeper and the village teacher. Yet I had a lot of questions, and one of them was why the gods looks so fierce and ugly? I thought perhaps the gods are really not gods since they had more human likeness than anything else. so? I became an atheist or a free thinker.) When I grew up I became convinced that there is no god and everything came by auto-genesis or Darwinism seem to be the answer. So the temple became just another myth created by people to bring business; howbeit the religious kind.
[edit] Nowadays a lot of people goes to the temple for blessings and prayers for protection against misfortunes
So when one goes to the temple they bring their goodwill offerings and incense. Why do the god and goddesses like incense? Besides, they bring lots of paper money we call gold and silver literally (in Chinese) to be burnt as offerings? Does those gods and goddesses need to be appeased so that misfortunes will not befall on the adherents? To me it was all a lot mysterious stuffs that we Chinese believe. SURPRISINGLY many people goes to get their number for gambling the 4D, and how can such gods and goddesses be so greedy like us people? They need to be bribed!

I discovered that there are many sincere people who believe in the One True God Almighty! It was a new concept when I heard it from my history teacher in a primary school in 1950s. Assuming there is such a God as great as all others gods and goddesses than he must be the true God. Can we get to see or know such Great Almighty God. Impossible I think, since there are no evidences that any person had seen Him,, have you?

One day I was walking or strolling along Thomson Road, near a Church building. So I talk as if with the Almighty God whois believe to live there, and said, Why God if you can give me a job, I will believe! Soon not long after I got employed in a job, then I also forget about what I said, but I knew (seem to know) that the God must have somehow hear me, or did I just talking to myself?

Did God really exist? How could we find out? Such questions used to more or curiosity than belief. I was just a sincere inquirer. Perhaps if God is God He will show me the truth! ..WHY i WAS A FREE THINKER ..?? We live in world of many confusing religions and they don't seem to lead me to believe in any of them. The only appeal that strike me was that most religions are mysterious and seemingly unknowable with lay people from the outside. I never want to join any of them. Someone said, Don't get too involved with it, it can make people crazy (unreal, insensitive to the world around us)!'
Yes any religions was a scary thing to get involved!

Perhaps it's a reality that the more we want to avoid the most, the innate curiosity seem to surface itself quite readily. The circumstances surrounding my life was such that those funny things happens. My own wondering lead me to go along with a friend to a Christian Youth Group where I was introduced. I learnt about prayers from the heart and calling upon the name of Jesus. I brought myself a Bible to read more, and the more I tried to understand, the more questions raised that I had no answers. tHE GLORY OF THE TEMPLE..GOTO SEE Shekinah i WROTE MANY ARTICLES (Originals) here within or on Sgwiki pages.. such as Proofs of God>>the mind & brain and spiritual metaphysical then important life issues ie. death and resurrectionetc..because all such are my own searchings..U draw your own conclusions..

Life is like a journey. Some had directions and destinations to go, but I had my wanderings around in my thoughts and dreams. Why is life so meaningless? Why are we here for? Is there really a purpose for me? Science does not give us any answers nor religions. I found it by simple faith in the accounts between the gospel accounts in the Bible. One saying seem to hit and locked in my mind is this: What shall it profit a man if he gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?(Mark 8:36).. then in the same book Jesus said that
- to seek His kingdom and his righteousness, than all these things shall be added to me >>Matthew 6:33
- Can that be practical? I tried and discovered it was possible and practical to follow that saying of Jesus!
I am talking and writing from my point of view after nearly nearly forty years of searching find that the Word of the Bible is true, and can be trusted. Today, these individuals and their families are justifiably hopeful, for a new era of discovery is dawning in brain research. Powerful microscopes, major strides in the study of genetics, and advances in brain imaging devices are giving physicians and scientists ever greater insight into the brain. Neuroscientists are mapping the brain's biochemical circuitry, which may help produce more effective drugs for alleviating the suffering of those who have Alzheimer's or Parkinson's disease. By studying how the brain's cells and chemicals develop, interact, and communicate with the rest of the body, investigators are also developing improved treatments for people incapacitated by spinal cord injuries, depressive disorders, and epileptic seizures. Breakthroughs in molecular genetics show great promise of yielding methods to treat and prevent Huntington's disease, the muscular dystrophies, and other life-threatening disorders. Research may also prove valuable in our war on drugs, as studies provide greater insight into how people become addicted to drugs and how drugs affect the brain. These studies may also help produce effective treatments for chemical dependency and help us to understand and prevent the harm done to the preborn children of pregnant women who abuse drugs and alcohol. Because there is a connection between the body's nervous and immune systems, studies of the brain may also help enhance our understanding of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome.
Many studies regarding the human brain have been planned and conducted by scientists at the National Institutes of Health, the National Institute of Mental Health, and other Federal research agencies. Augmenting Federal efforts are programs supported by private foundation and industry. The cooperation between these agencies and the multidisciplinary efforts of thousands of scientists and health care professionals provide powerful evidence of our nation's determination to conquer brain disease.
To enhance public awareness of the benefits to be derived from brain research, the Congress, by House Joint Resolution 174, has designated the decade beginning January 1, 1990, as the "Decade of the Brain" and has authorized and requested the President to issue a proclamation in observance of this occasion.
Now, Therefore, I, George Bush, President of the United States of America, do hereby proclaim the decade beginning January 1, 1990, as the Decade of the Brain. I call upon all public officials and the people of the United States to observe that decade with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities.
