[edit] Understand God's revelation of the Holy Spirit

To understand such spiritual matters (it occurs to me) that it is solely the blessings given to believers. Just as many see Jesus did not believe He is God-in-this-Man-Jesus!

The Bible is the main source of revelation regarding such spiritual matters concerning the Spirit or what we labeled as "the Holy Spirit".

Jesus was the full expression of God in the Word (Logos - the Word was God)- humanly speaking. The "Wind" was another analogy of the Holy Spirit who come to indwelt the believers (or Christians who are born again by the same Spirit of sonship). There are many names attributed to the Holy Spirit and none ever revealed that the Holy Spirit display a personality Himself (Of course that does not say that the Holy Spirit does not have a personality since just as anyone who can be grieved (become sad) has a personality too) For example, the Bible speaks of a corporate sense that we as "race" that comes originally from the first Adam. The billions of human born under the fatherhood of Adam in a corporate sense is a body of descendants just "all believers under Christ" is an universal body of the second Adam - Christ, the Messiah. The Holy Spirit came to indwell believers and bring out that sonship, as a race in the second Adam, becomes the Comforter as reveals in the Gospel according to the Apostle John.

He (in that sense as the Holy Spirit) came to fill in the personality of each individual believer according to the openness of each believer. We as individual believers can resist the Holy Spirit workings in our lives too! To one (believer) He came into his/her heart and life without measure (see John 3:34) and another maybe as a gifted musician to lead the church in real spiritual worship, or another the gift as a steward (manager of the business affairs with wisdom and integrity), another to preach to unsaved crowds (evangelist preacher like Billy Graham with demonstrated power over millions) or another as a missionary (sent out with authority by the spiritual church to convert unbelievers via the gospel message, like the Apostle Paul to the gentiles ) and so on.

Therefore we can see that the Holy Spirit though One as in the Godhead (same as God) display Himself in so many personalities can be just as westerners or we orientals tried to imagine who is this "the Holy Spirit" ? Our limited understanding perception and our method in logically parceling out such appropriate "labels and names" seem to confuse us even more. To be One cannot be three, eh?
