Scheme B Bus Routes

Scheme B buses were introduced in 1974 to supplement SBS bus routes, especially on high demand routes. It started off with 50 routes with 800 buses. Currently, Scheme B has 50 buses running 11 routes. These are run by private bus operators and they are required to operate on 210 days in a year.
Their operational hours are generally during the peak hours (Weekdays is 0700-0900, 1700-1900. Satudays: 0700-0900, 1200-1400) on a one-directional peak hour basis. Route Details shown below are on the Morning Peak direction.
